Amanda and Ryan’s vision for their wedding was to be all about love. Vintage, classic, elegant love between them, their families, and their love of coffee! They were lucky enough to have their wedding at the beautiful Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna with an amazing team of vendors who truly made their vision come to life.
It was important to them to incorporate vintage pieces from their family history with the amazingly talented creations of Yuriko from Vintage Origami. She incorporated the mailbox from Ryan’s grandparent’s old farmhouse, a vintage apple crate as well as the McDougall plaid for a unique display for the coffee favour table.
During the ceremony, Amanda and Ryan’s guests enjoyed breathtaking views of the lake from the rooftop at the Eldorado. The reception was a stand up cocktail affair. Guests were able to catch up with family and friends while enjoying delicious creations paired with local wine and beer from the kitchen.
The bridesmaids and flower girls all wore different dresses styles but in the same colour palette of soft coral, lavender, and blush pink. The groomsmen’s ties were handmade by Ryan’s mother Nancy. She also made the adorable robes the girls wore while getting ready in the morning.
Another huge part of the day was using the 1976 Buick Ryan inherited from his grandfather. The family loved seeing it parked out front when arriving for the wedding and Heatherly Photography truly showed it off in the stunning photos.
From the handmade garland on the wedding ceremony arbor to dancing the night away with those they love, the day was everything the couple could have ever hoped for and more.
